Metric Design is a full-service interior design and renovation studio based in Saskatoon, known for thoughtful planning, elevated aesthetics, and a personalized client experience. For more than two decades, founder and Creative Director Tamara Bowman has shaped Saskatoon's design landscape. Her extensive experience in residential design, project planning, renovations, and new-home selections forms the foundation of Metric’s process: organized, strategic, and deeply invested in every detail.

Welcome to Metric, an award winning firm, committed to growth and community bringing a wealth of years of expertise and creative thinking to hundreds of happy clients.
Tamara Bowman interior design career began in 1999. Creating spaces with clients is a passion, however, she noticed a disconnect in the industry. Her ambition to produce the best overall experience for her clients felt challenged by the products available, the running about to make selections, and the friction between suppliers, sub-trades, designers, and contractors.
When Tamara shifted to providing the role of the designer and project manager, her client’s experience changed completely, blooming the concept of Metric Design which opened in 2011. Bringing together quality materials combined with professionals makes the design-build process quicker, simpler, less stressful, and more fun. Clients enjoy the benefits of creating their dream projects alongside their design and contracting team - selecting materials, reviewing drawings, coffee in hand, and confidence in knowing their space will look and feel incredible in the end.
